The University of California updated its Repatriation Dashboard documenting the progress of the UCR NAGPRA program to repatriate Ancestors, associated funerary objects, and unassociated funerary objects on April 11, 2025.

As the dashboard documents, the majority of University of California, Riverside's NAGPRA holdings have now (1) had extensive consultation with tribal partners, and the required Notices submitted to or published by the U.S. National Park Service in the Federal Register as required by the federal NAGPRA legislation, or (2) have already been repatriated.

Items described in Notices can be repatriated once the 30 day waiting period required by federal NAGPRA legislation has expired after the date of publication of the Notice.
